Mark Your Calendar: May 20th is Vegan Beauty Affair!
Picture this: Summer makeup demos, a bitters-making demo with Field Apothecary + Verdant Beauty, a hair braiding station, fresh juice by LULITONIX, cocktail popsicles by CITYSTICKS, and a skincare marketplace featuring the very best in vegan, eco-beauty. Sounds pretty dreamy, right?
Well, get your rootin’ tootin’ cutie shabooties on over to the Spring/Summer Vegan Beauty Affair—it’s a free event happening in NYC on May 20th, showcasing some of the finest all-natural, safe, and sustainable vegan and cruelty-free beauty brands. This is the first all-vegan event of its kind, and it’s organized by Sarah Peltier of the Vegan Shop-Up and Tara Pelletier of Meow Meow Tweet (love these gals!).
Since I live on the opposite side of the country and won’t be able to attend this rad vegan beauty event in person (WOMP *tear*), Sarah and Tara hooked me up with ridiculously awesome “Teleportation Kit.” It’s a sweet lil’ taste of some of brands that’ll be featured at Vegan Beauty Affair: Osmia Organics, Au Naturale, Captain Blankenship, Lurk, Hi Wildflower Botanica, Kahina Giving Beauty, Meow Meow Tweet, and more.
